100 Unique Designs For Professionals & Children Of All Ages
218 Pages ISBN-13: 978-1469980430
Doodling is truly a creative experience that doesn’t need to duplicate a person, place, or object. Doodle Designs simply record simple lines, shapes, and patterns while in a relaxed state of mind.
While drawing may seem to come easier to some, regaining self-confidence in drawing can be conquered at any age. Like life, doodling without constant self-criticism, allows one to relax, play, and gain positive perspectives that continually build self-confidence, pride, and creative problem solutions at any age.
Doodle Designs is a successful drawing technique I’ve introduced to thousands of students, but especially to those who‘ve lost their confidence in their ability to draw.
While this book was created in the form of a coloring book, it encourages you to personalize each Doodle Design by adding your own lines, shapes,, patterns, and colors.
So, whether you’re a professional or 3 years old, you’ll enjoy adding extra lines, shapes, patterns, and colors to this volume of 50 new Doodle Designs.

We need lots of secure storage space for our growing library of artwork, audio and video files. Several years ago we invested in several 1T external drives. Why? Because you never know when your computer will crash.

Being wealthy does not have to be difficult if you have the desire and know-how. In these difficult economic times many people struggle just to get by, scraping enough money together to pay the bills. Saying it doesn’t have to be that way - isn’t part of most people’s mindset or reality.
Wealth and financial freedom is a distant dream for many people. For them, it means mansions, gated communities, fast cars, private parties and big swimming pools. And that the truly wealthy have family names like Gates, Buffett, or Walton.
Accumulating wealth requires discipline, focus, and purpose. The thing is, not everyone knows how to implement these traits. Yet, the 20th century has fostered many young “first-time ”millionaires, many of whom didn’t come from families with money.
Fortunately for you, there are dozens, even hundreds of little wealth nuggets that you can easily apply to your life to expand your net worth and double, even triple Your Right To Wealth.

Here's a sneak peak at four (4) of his latest abstract Kaleidoscopic compositions.
He's currently working to complete a massive digital quilt consisting of 400+ contiguous images that can be assembled in a multitude of combinations.
Each of this individualistic canvas section measures 38" x 38", and when displayed this massive collection, placed end-to-end, spans the length of over FIVE football fields (over 500+ Yards).
Wisconsin Artist - Richard Voigt - RIVO - Master Digitographer
The underlying structure of each theme starts with a photograph of family, friends, flora, and fauna from his immediate environment and becomes the basic foundation of his initial focus for a given thematic project.
Upon closer scrutiny, the viewer is visually treated to multiple detailed layers of colors and textures which create more than just a photograph as they are transformed into a truly unique work of art so detailed that the human eye must be prepared for a visual feast.
Whether creating a unique portrait, landscape, still life, or abstract design, RIVO's passion for vivid prismatic colors and visual textures often create hypnotic rhythms and patterns.
The kaleidoscopic, abstract symmetry of each digital quilt sections explores a myriad of amazing colors, rich textures, and patterns that create a visual 3-dimentional challenge to both the eye and mind in seeking a deeper consciousness of the abundant imagery missed by superficial glances.
Viewers have often asked if the images 'grow', as the visual depth seems to become greater over time. One Critic's description given to his work is that it's "High Definition Eye Candy Art."
We invite you to a visual treat including over 3,000 of RIVO's portfolio and amazing body of original artwork for private, corporate, and museum collections.

Selling Fine Art Online: Be Prepared For The Art Collectors of Tomorrow
by Brian Sherwin
In many ways-- especially if you follow mainstream art news-- the verdict is still out on whether or not the Internet is viable for selling art. Ambitious projects, such as VIP Art Fair, have helped to change opinions of art market traditionalists who years before scoffed at any suggestion of marketing and selling fine art online. However, even with the mainstream successes that the online art market has had in recent years there are still those who are skeptical. That is to be expected when a market-- any market-- ventures into a focus on online sales. Obviously the physical art market has been very slow to embrace the Internet compared to other markets-- there are still individuals who chuckle at the suggestion of selling art online. With that in mind, there is something that I think every art dealer and artist should consider-- that being the fact that the art collectors of tomorrow are wired today.
I've been hitting on this future outlook for several years now. To me, it is common sense-- and the reality of it should not be denied. The future is clear when you consider that some grade school children know more about surfing the Internet and finding what they want compared to some adults. Decades fly by fast-- some of these youngsters will be the art collectors of tomorrow. You could go as far as to say that children today are raised on the Internet. Thus, it goes without saying that the children of today will be accustomed to conducting business transactions online and having a second-self that is digital. In other words, as adults they will likely expect artists to have an artist website and solid online presence-- they will think on terms of high traffic, following, and hard-line numbers. These future art collectors will not chuckle at the idea of artists selling art on the Internet-- they will expect it. They will expect to buy fine art online.
In fact, I predict that the art collectors of tomorrow will be puzzled if an artist, or art gallery for that matter, barely comes up in searches-- it will leave them wondering what is wrong with the artist, gallery, or art itself. After all, they have been born into current societal trends that dictate that importance-- and dare I say, notability-- is often established by how popular the person or thing is online. I know that makes some individuals uncomfortable-- but the fact remains that most Internet users today associate big numbers with popularity. If something is backed by a large number it must be good, right? Perhaps not-- but that is the reality of our age... and it is foolish to think that the next generation will not view aspects of culture on the same terms.
I know that many people today state that viewing an image of a work of art on a computer screen or mobile device is not the same as viewing a work of art in person. In many ways, I agree. That said, future generations may have a different opinion. The art collectors of tomorrow will view art online very differently compared to the way art collectors of today do. Having been born into the Internet they will likely have a connection-- no pun intended-- with images viewed on a computer screen that is far deeper than the experience a viewer has today viewing art online. After all, the Internet will be that generations reality-- more so than we can imagine. Think about that-- and then think about how addicted we, as a society, have already become to digital realities. If you need further evidence in regard to this potential future think about how serious individuals follow-- and have an emotional response to-- TV programming compared to when television was first introduced. Opinions change with time.
That is why-- in my opinion-- it is very important for artists TODAY to have a personal website for their art. Don't put the race for site traffic off-- YOU need to be prepared for the art collectors of TOMORROW! The longer you put off having a personal artist website for your art, the harder it will be in the future to gain momentum. You want to be there when the art buyers of tomorrow arrive, so to speak. Placing all of your focus on artist social networks (Myartspace, DeviantART, ArtWanted... etc.), as so many artists tend to do, will only serve to build URL domination for those respected companies. In a sense, you are making those websites popular instead of placing focus on yourself. Place focus on YOURSELF today. Be prepared for the next wave of art collectors-- be prepared for tomorrow. Have a foundation for the future by having the best artist website you can today.

I am a visual artist using digital photography and editing techniques to capture amazing faces I am seeing manifested in trees, wooden furniture and, most recently, in dried water droplets.
I only highlight the image to create a dramatic art piece. I absolutely do not add any features such as eyes, pupils, noses, and mouths… it’s all been done by Mother Nature.

If it exists in nature, why augment? I cannot perfect nature. If it has been done before, why duplicate? I want to create my own artistic reality.
My life experiences have been diversified and spiritual. What I express in my art embodies my autobiography.
Time does not exist. All that exists is my own consciousness, raw emotions, thoughts, and the materials.
When I am told something cannot be done, I interpret that as a challenge to prove I can do it.
In art, there is no right or wrong—only limitless opportunities abound.
My art exists to be enjoyed by everyone, but I do not need an audience to be fulfilled.
I once read that if you are born with the creative gift of being an artist, your life’s course is predetermined; you will never be happy doing anything else.
I’m a self taught metal artist who received her training in Architecture, uses precious metal and uncommon material to express ideas to reality. Just like in Architecture, all of my pieces start with a sketch. Ideas start with a basic Architecture Form; lines, plane and volume.
I use precious metals as the media as it has some similar characters with a construction material. My pieces tend to be geometric, which you can relate with geometric shape you find in your daily life. I work mostly on sterling silver and copper.
Lisa strives to capture the character of Wisconsin’s four beautiful seasons. She says, “Nothing is better than when someone views my work and it makes them feel happy.” Her landscape and tourism photography is featured in magazines, brochures and books. Corporate and portrait work is also a part of her repertoire. She has shown her fine art photography in galleries and it is also available in stores on Sheboygan’s Riverfront.
A master painter, William A. Suys work is included in local, national and international collections. His paintings and commissioned portraits have been included in national and international shows, including the Salon International 2003 at the International Museum of Masters of Contemporary Fine Art, and the Portrait Society of America.
2009-Best in Show, Wauwatosa Plein Air Affair, Honorary Artist Chair-Open Canvas Event, MIAD.
Manipulating the canvas with intense color and definitive brush strokes, Timothy Schnese creates stunning visual images that challenge and impact the viewer. His recent subject matter, plants, provides him with ever-changing views, a fresh look each time he paints. “Most of my life I have spent painting and I am still fascinated every time I sit at my easel.”
Timothy is a Wisconsin native. Born in Green Bay he spent his childhood growing up in Kimberly. His interest in art began at a young age. To him art was like the force or some type of magical power that one possessed and could yield at their will, while impossible for others. As a child he vividly remembers being entranced by color and the vibrancy of light somehow captured inside of that color.
In the vast subject matter that Schnese has painted his focus still remains on color along with the effects of brush marks and accurate, unexpected lighting. One of his favorite subject matters of late is plants. These paintings are a good example of these techniques and his use of the negative spaces between the leaves and the branches. Timothy sees these spaces as limitless opportunities for manipulating the subject matter, yet maintaining the clarity of the figure.
He is a recent graduate of Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art. At the end of his junior year at MIAD, he was awarded the honor of participating in the summer abroad program. Timothy chose to go to Florence, Italy where he focused his studies in Florentine Renaissance and Contemporary Florentine painters.
“When I was younger I always wanted to be interacting in the arts and now I can't escape it. Painting has taken me everywhere in life and it is exciting because I don't know where it is going to take me next. That's why I keep coming back; it's the mystery.”
In addition to the current paintings on exhibit, Schnese's body of work also consists of portraits and landscapes. His landscape paintings will also be on exhibit.
As a professional artist, my passion for Lake Superior and its splendid imagery, is the visual stimulus behind this collection of watercolor seascapes, landscapes, and floral paintings. The northern most boundary of Wisconsin is the Bayfield Peninsula in Bayfield County.
Surrounded by Lake Superior, the region is admittedly the visual jewel in the crown of Northern Wisconsin, (if not the whole Midwest), furnishing some of the finest watercolor painting found anywhere. The villages of LaPointe, Bayfield and Cornucopia, nestled among the Apostle Islands, offer images unique to this artistically enriched environment and all sorts of delightful resource material for a Wisconsin watercolor artist.
Of all Great Lakes lighthouses, the lighthouses on Lake Superior within the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, are a fine art form in themselves. Rendered naturally to the watercolor medium, lighthouse paintings are a pleasurable and dramatic journey into marine history for fine artists.
I look for a variety of subjects, but I'm drawn more to the details and patterns in nature that often go unnoticed. When I'm out in nature I walk quietly and try to blend in; quieting my mind to see what Mother Nature is giving me that day. Most of the time I find myself on my hands and knees, looking at low angles for new perspectives, picking out the patterns and colors and details that most of us walk past without noticing. I want my viewers to feel the sun, smell the leaves, take a deep breath, and want to look deeper.
Growing up in Wisconsin I have always looked forward to the next season. The swelling buds pushing out new growth, summer flowers and beautiful sunrises, fall colors that dazzle against blue skies, the first snows of winter.
I consider myself more of an "old school" photographer. While I truly appreciate digital artists who can create stunning surrealist art, my best and favorite images are the ones I barely touch. Photographs where the camera becomes invisible and the image I capture is a direct reflection of what I see in my mind's eye.u! Please let us know what your needs and questions are, we will be more than happy to help. JERRY CAHAK
When I was seven years old, I saw glassblowing for the first time at a local university. I haven't been the same since.
I began my study of glass as an undergraduate at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California where I received a BA in philosophy and minors in glass and literature. Accepted to pursue a PhD in philosophy at SUNY Binghamton, I chose instead to study glass at the graduate level and move to Madison, Wisconsin where I completed my MFA degree in May of 2003.
My work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has included exploration into the vessel and sculptural object. I use glass, not for its mimetic quality to capture the look of stone or plastic, but for its most unique properties; the inclination to flow, the capacity to freeze a moment in time, and its ability to manipulate optics.
WISCONSIN ARTISTS: Jeremy Shamrowicz & Jesse Meyer's Design Crew
Since the foundation of Flux Design in January of 2000, by former MIAD [Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design] students Jeremy Shamrowicz & Jesse Meyer, the business has experienced near-exponential growth. The designers began by recycling found lumber & scrap metal & turning it into "organic" furniture. After landing their first full blown interior design contract, for one of the downtown’s hottest nightspots, Eve [in 2001], the firm has gone on to be involved with a broad range of projects including Vivo Urban Grill, Terrace Bar & Vucciria. With a booth at the prestigious 2002 Chicago Design Show, Flux poised itself to take their business to even greater prominence. Their list of Client's has continued to grow in scale & scope.
In 2000, Shamrowicz & Meyer opened Gallery 326 in one of the Historic Third Ward warehouse spaces. When they initially rented the space, it was nothing more than a shell. Over the course of several months, they literally camped indoors while working on the installation of the new interior. Simultaneously, they began producing furniture to show at the gallery's opening events & their team began to grow.
The design principles of Flux are at once timeless & modern. They work in media as varied as concrete, glass, wood, plastic, stone & steel. Shamrowicz cites a wide range of influences for their designs, from contemporary Japanese minimalism, to the work of Frank Lloyd Wright & even the futuristic special effects found in movies such as Dune, Blade Runner & Star Wars.
"We study the human factor of the space. How do people interact with it? How will shapes, colors & textures come into play? How can we use light & shadow to create a different visual effect? We consider all of these elements when we design," says Shamrowicz. “& hopefully, we’ll be able to evoke some sort of emotional response from our clients in the process.”
The idea for this series came to me as spring was approaching. I was dreaming of summer days in the sun, blowing bubbles with my kids. I wanted to create pieces that convey the essence and movement of bubbles. The gentle flowing movement of the bubbles and the innate conflict between the internal and external pressures, separated only by a film of soap inspired my creative process, thus the title Surface Tension.
I really wanted to work with trying a mix of perceived depth and design elements that literally come off the piece. To achieve the sense of depth on the 2 dimensional quilt surface, I worked within a single color, and played with the shades to create a distant center and then lightened the fabric color as the bubbles appear to come up to you. I also worked with the characteristics of different fabrics, playing with the reflective nature of some to get the feeling that light is reflected in all directions. Finally to bring in the 3d element, I literally bubbled up organza, with varying colors and opacities to have them rise off the quilt surface.
A more literal homage to blowing bubbles than Surface Tension I, this piece incorporates and actual bubble wand as a design element. The wand is used to give the piece a focus and draws the eye to follow the bubbles from the wand across the surface of the whole piece, as if the viewer had blown the bubbles themselves. Vibrant purples are reminiscent of early evening skies as we try to squeeze the last summer fun from the day before dark.

Since its founding, the underlying impulse of American Players Theatre has been to develop a popular classical theatre company: we seek above all to share our abiding enthusiasm for the great plays of the Western Canon, the works of Shakespeare in particular, with a large, diverse and far-flung audience.
The kernel of our artistic mission is contained in our belief that much of what the twentieth century has learnt about the art of acting can be adapted and applied to difficult classical texts in such a way as to make them accessible and rewarding to a broad and varied audience. Our first obligation is to tell a gripping story, our next is to make dramatic poetry the necessary and unpretentious expression of those intimate and otherwise inexpressible moments of human consciousness that great plays explore; we delight in the paradox that it is precision, rigor and technique that provides the best foundation for fresh, joyous and accessible classical work.
My work plays with the sculptural capacity of garments based on an interest in the boundaries created between the body and the environment in which it's worn. I've come to understand that though it does not deal with the subject of Crohn's in a direct, representational way, it is always present in the underlying tension of the materials used.
Though a contrast of soft materials and hard lines, I evoke sensations of both protection and fragility, reflecting the complex relationship I have with my own physicality. Because of the nature of my work ant the way it transforms when worn, I document many of my pieces through performance-based videos that transform and elevate the mood.
